As a harpsichordist and recorder player, David co-founded AB24, a trio of musicians performing baroque music on period instruments in a colourful range of instrumental combinations.

Amanda Babington plays regularly with period-instrument ensembles such as Les Talens Lyrique, the Wallfisch Band, Dunedin Consort, Ex Cathedra, the Gabrieli Consort and Players and Fiori Musicali. Claire Babington is in demand as a continuo cellist, playing in operas by Handel, Monteverdi, Purcell and Rameau, combining this with solo performance.
